The purpose of this presentation is to describe a newly developed tool for the development of research proposals. The project mapping tool provides a framework for considering the essential aspects of developing a new research idea. The tool is meant to be used for planning and receiving feedback/consultation on your emerging research ideas. This presentation is appropriate for students/trainees, new investigators, and those who are mentoring new investigators. The presentation will describe the project mapping tool and give a brief overview of each of the sections on the project mapping tool.
